Past lectures
Capitol PhotoInteractive has joined forces with Fairfield Department of Community & Economic Development to offer continuing lectures. We recently co-sponsored a very informative presentation by Chris LaSala who manages Google's channel program aimed at delivering Google's advertising solutions to small, local businesses. It was held in the Fairfield Museum and History Center and Mr. LaSala unraveled the seemingly confusion of GoogleAds and just getting listed on Google's Search Engine.

Learn how to avoid burdening your children with your long-term care needs.
Speaker:
Randi Oster
Long-Term Planning Associates, LLC
Learn how long-term care insurance protection allows your adult children to be actively involved in your care. Paid caregivers do the heavy lifting. Your children do the heavy loving.
Long-term care insurance allows your loved ones to care ABOUT you…instead of caring FOR you!
When your young children had colds or even more severe health conditions, you cared for them. After all, isn’t that a parent’s job?
Is your plan to reverse the roles when you require long-term health care? Is your plan to have your adult children care for you? They will, because they love you.
If you don’t have a plan for dealing with the risk of needing long-term care, your adult children will be forced into the role of being an unpaid hands-on caregiver.

Protect Your Idea From Internet Piracy:
The Ins and Outs of Federal Trademarks
Attorney Jason Marsh
of Jeffers & Ireland
The first thing anyone who puts their idea or product on a website needs to know is that their concept becomes global with the click of a button. While this is great news when it comes to low cost, high exposure marketing, the downside is there is no protection from others pirating your work and running with it themselves unless the idea or product has a federal trademark or copyright.
Attorney Jason Marsh of Jeffers & Ireland, one of the leading advertising and marketing communications law firms in the country, will share his expertise and explain why, when and how to protect new ideas and new products with trademarks, service marks and copyrights.
